Parlor City Pub and Eatery at 1125 3rd Street SE in Cedar Rapids will present Fareed Haque and Garaj Mahal Sunday, September 20, at 6 p.m. Garaj Mahal presented its blend of jazz and Mideast rhythms at the 2008 Iowa City Jazz Festival. Garaj Mahal features guitar and sitar virtuoso Fareed Haque, world-renowned bassist Kai Eckhardt, gospel-inspired funky jazz keyboardist Eric Levy and drummer Sean Rickman. One performance only. Tickets are $10 and available the day of the show only. Doors open at 5 p.m.
